Philip

Today would have been Philip's mothers 96th birthday.

Margaret died in March this year. Philip's greatest wish, after his diagnosis in January, was to get back to the UK to see his mother, which he managed at the end of February. He was also able to be there for her funeral in early April.

At the time he thought he was in remission and did not know it would be the last time he saw many of his extended family.

She was a great lady - fun-loving with a great sense of humour and loved her family enormously. Philip and I often talked about how many changes she must have seen and had to adapt to in her life! Although she just about mastered digital TV the Internet always both amazed and confused her!

Today's blip is dedicated to her Grandchildren, whom she adored. x
