One man and his boat

Maidstone Cygnets, a model boat club make use of Mote Park Lake on Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings. And quite a row they make too and the fuel they use has a right pong to it as well.

I've long tried to capture one of the boats in action as it zips around the lake but not been good enough to get the shot. Like the Model Engineering Club which operates nearby and which I've blipped many times you have to admire the skill and enthusiasm of the people who build and operate these craft.

It was quite a regulation day today, run, shower, bit of work, post a parcel, buy coffee to take away, haircut, lunch, gardening, walk and supper. Snooze in front of the TV.
