Yum!

Imagine having a neighbour who makes delicious chocolate right next door to where you live! Today we visited our neighbour who owns the Salish Sea Chocolate Company. Colleen was making sour cherry chocolate and hazelnut chocolate. We sampled warm chocolate she was melting to pour into molds - and it was simply delicious! Krista and Kalyn wanted Chris to experience as many of their favourite Salt Spring places as possible, and the Chocolate Cottage is one of them. Did I mention that it's right next door to us?
Colleen brings us chocolate in exchange for veggies and figs from our garden. Not a bad trade! The barter system is alive and well in our neighbourhood.
