Dame Washalot strikes again!

An unusual day, but a brilliant one. Spent most of the day with the washing machine going - there's a guy who lives outside on the square near our flat, Danny offered our washing machine to him, so he's been here pretty much all day washing and drying his stuff. He's SUCH an interesting guy, and experiences SUCH a different side to Ibiza living on the streets. Incredible listening to him tell us about his life... Such a privilege to spend the day with him and be able to lend him our machine, hoping it'll be a regular thing. Oddly enough he's from Birmingham (which is where I'm from)! Anyway, here blipped, you have our washing machine!
Had an impromptu coffee with a couple of girls from San An, lovely to get to know some of the 24-7 street team better....one of them is just back from living in Belem in Brazil, so extra interesting hearing about her time there. Then a lesson with Alberto...most of it spent discussing grammar points and photography... A good day!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) meeting John and being able to get to know him a little bit.
2) having a place to live that's dry, private, safe, comfortable etc etc...I take it for granted far too often.
3) the temperature being lower today - I HAVE NOT FELT HOT AND SWEATY!!! Woohoo!!
