Gender reveal story continued

After the appointment we had about 3.5 hours to get to a finished project. We wanted to take pictures outside with Jimmy's camera. We were hoping our neighbor could take some, but they weren't home so we knew it was going to be a tripod kind of night. We first ran to walmart which is on the way home and picked up a few pink accessories. We got baby booties, pink and blue balloons, pink streamers, pink paint and a white shirt for the bump. I had bought her name in scrabble tiles weeks ago and I'm sure glad I did! It ended up looking perfect. After Walmart we raced home to do the shirt.
Jimmy made pink handprints in the shape of a heart on the belly of the shirt and we let it dry. I just wore a plain white shirt to be ready for the teaser pictures and knew I would just change them out when necessary. Once all our crafts were done and we discussed each shot we wanted, it was time to go. The lighting was going to be perfect for outdoor shots around 7-7:30 and we were seriously running out of time. We walked around our apartment complex but I didn't like anything. We then drove around our neighborhood because there are a few pretty lakes and landscapes, but nothing.... In a last ditch attempt we drove to a park that we pass going to church every week.
We got there just in time and Jimmy went into super human mode. He was racing around, setting up great shots in his head, shooting in manual on his camera, all with the automatic timer so he could get in the picture too. He was awesome, I cannot sing his praises enough. Poor guy was literally running because we were running out of light FAST! He did a marvelous job, the pictures look incredible. It's practically unbelievable that he did it all himself because they look professionally done. Who knew I married an artist?! New perks you find out all the time :)
We got our last shot and good thing because the light was gone. We cleaned up our mess and raced home again. There was less than an hour until reveal time! I started immediately begging for last minute selfies and began to make the collage on my phone. Once home Jimmy jumped on the computer and downloaded the pictures from his camera. It was a team effort but at 9 pm on the dot I sent the teaser out, about 10 minutes later I finished up the reveal collage and bam! Instant success. Everyone was so sweet and I couldn't have been happier with how it all turned out. I'm so proud of my amazing husband, he really pulled this one out of his butt, and I loved every second of it! The best part of this all....we get a baby girl :), I'm a happy girl!
