Watendlath Valley

A busy day, with locations including Thirlmere, Derwent Water, Watendlath and, after a fair old walk, Dock Tarn. This is the view down the valley heading back towards Watendlath. The heather is looking glorious at the moment and the mountain in the distance is Skiddaw.

John wasn't too pleased that we'd spread ourselves so thin, but I'm quite happy with what I've taken today, especially as I got to do more long exposures. I will post some on flickr in due course...
