Un plus jolie jour

We stayed in the ibis budget hotel in Cherbourg last night. I can highly recommend it if you happen to need a bed for a night in that area. It is very new, everything is very minimalist but there is everything you need. The beds were very comfy and the shower head had colour changing disco lights in it. What more can you ask for for 30 euro?

We had a two and a half hour drive to Dinan where we are staying the night. I found much better map
app which worked like a dream and drove straight here. It's a beautiful midieval town full of very old buildings, minstrels playing random ones man band instruments and a fine selection of tourist shops.

We had a fine lunch of moules frites, croque Monsieur, crepes and other good French fayre and then wandered round touching everything in the shops. Then the children announced they would like to lie on their beds.

I am seriously outnumbered here, every small holiday beer I order is met with raised eyebrows and "another one?" comments. I bought them ice cream to shut them up.
