Team Scotland

On the steps of the Glasgow Art Galleries Team Scotland athletes posed with First Minister Alex Salmond and key officials. I love the wee chap at the back leaping two feet off the ground! Then followed the parade through Glasgow on floats to George Square to thank the home crowd for its support - note it was not called a 'Victory Parade'.
Team Scotland had its best ever games, scooping 53 medals, 19 of them gold. The crowds were terrific. With the referendum next month on Scottish independence no wonder Alex wants to be seen with the winners -and quite right too. He'd have been missing a trick if he hadn't been there!
