Florentines

As described on Great British Bake Off.... Be quick and get to the Evil Grocery Emporium of your choice before all the glacé cherries are gone

I remembered too late why I seldom make Florentines... They are an all time favourite of mine and all I can say is that it is a very good job that Ms Black was visiting today or I would have eaten the whole bally lot myself.

These were slightly modified by substituting apricots for cherries... And Morello cherries for mixed peel and flaked almonds for chopped.
