Back in Rumi Loma

Back from the field! Now, two weeks catch up blipping. Here go my notes....

Arriving into Rumi Loma in late afternoon. The paramo folded and golden like a wheat field draped over a great sleeping beast.

Unpack and load the horses then hike to the ridgetop with Stu. First impressions of glee on student faces.

Late afternoon sun glinting off the tussock grasses and calm.

Wide open space. Humbling and huge.

Happy to be back.
