Early Sun On Cottage

I was out (relatively) early this morning with the dogs - as the forecast was pretty dire.

Just before leaving I could see the sun was beginning to shine on the village. Along the road it was just catching a couple of stone cottages giving them a nice glow.

This cottage is covered in a creeper which does turn a beautiful red colour. I liked the brightness of cottage against the dark clouds (similar to my shot from Thursday).

I also captured this cottage which has the same creeper and has a little more red in it at the moment.

A few minutes after these shots were taken the sun had gone as the grey clouds rolled across. Towards the end of the walk it had started to rain - but it didn't really develop into anything serious! Has been grey and cool for the rest of the day.
