Young Sparrows

I am wondering if these are young tree sparrows as they are still asking to be fed and the adult bird nearby had the white collar. There were other sparrows too but I thought that perhaps the white collar came as they matured. I am sure someone on Blip will know.
We are ready for winter as our new electric blanket was ready for collection in Lakeland. Apparently it has a lifetime guarantee. Amazingly I managed to emerge from that shop with only the one item. I think if I had been alone without my husband that would not have been possible!
