Under the bed

For the last 14 years I have stored Dad's fishing rods etc. I have not fished since I was a teenager. I am a vegetarian . However I realise that nowadays most fishers put the caught fish back into the water unharmed. I have no objection to them catching a fish for dinner I just don't like to think of them being killed just for sport. I feel the same about birds and animals. Dad used to put them back and he used unbarbed hooks.
Today I have decided it is time I parted with it so I put one of the rods on Gumtree. While under the bed I discovered I still had three nets and a cruel looking hook with a large cork on the end. These will probably follow the 10 rods onto Gumtree..
I shall put the money towards a caravan.
