Be Mine

Less than ten days till Valentine's Day. I wanted to get this little plastic necklace to my granddaughter, Savannah in time so she could wear it to pre-school. I love to send her little things in the mail-cards, books, clothes, or even freebie-toys from McDonald's (I eat the kid's meal, so I can send her the little pony or barbie trinket). The fact is that she lives half way across the country and I don't want here to forget me.

The little hearts remind me of those chalky-flavored candies you got on Valentine's Day from some of the wealthier kids in school. Do you remember? They said True Love, Kiss Me and Be Mine. Now days, the newer version of these candies say Be Cool, or Text Me. The words may change over time, but I bet they still taste like chalk.
