The Breton Coast
The French coast is reknown for its weather - something we encountered today. Luckily we are familiar with bad, unpredictable weather, so we can adapt. This morning we took the car to explore the nature parks north of La Rochelle, including the Réserve Naturelle de la Baie de l'Aiguillon with hundreds of shorebirds foraging in the shallows.
In the afternoon though, the weather gods decided to test our adaptive capabilities while going for a visit of La Rochelle, by pouring a few bucket loads of water over us. Still, nice town for a stroll and a bite.
