Sunday in the village

I finished off the Welcome Pack information this morning but searched in vain for the telephone number that I had retrieved yesterday from the village hall notice board - so back I trotted again!
This is a retaining wall on our main street - I find it rather unusual and I like it in mono.
AD has been trawling through the Village Magazines of the 1970's seeking interesting nuggets for our History of the Twentieth Century project. We have been totally distracted all afternoon by the European Athletics. Well done GB!
Duck breast, roasties and runner beans from my brothers garden for supper. Yum Yum! Oh, and Marston plums for pud.
