Today it's mostly bucketed down with actual buckets of rain. We decided we needed to go out anyway so took ourselves to Huntly Castle for some excellent old-rocks-stuck-together-into-a-castle-shape action.
It's a lovely castle and the rain eased off while we were there. My favourite moment was when, upon arriving at the open roof of the tower, the big one spied a wooden door to a small extension bit and squealed excitedly 'look mummy, that must have been the king's shed'.
I like the idea of the Earl of Huntly, the Cock o the north, having a shed on top his ever so pretty castle.
Home to fish n chips feast.
Yay.
