Cracking the Whip
The last day of tour and there was much sadness and goodbyes, exchanging of e-mails and phone numbers and promises to meet up at the next orienteering event. Lagganlia tends to be the turning point for the juniors who, from now on, will leave parents in the carpark and buzz off to find their new pals at events.
Before everyone headed off home by car, train or plane there is much to do to put Lagganlia back together. In order to make the best of the excellent facilities we inevitably have to move furniture and equipment from one lodge to another to create dining and teaching spaces to fit our large group and this all has to go back at the end of the week. I hijacked this very useful trolley from the obliging cleaning staff to move the heavier chairs and Joe had his eye on it for some time. Having been given the nod to take the last chair back, Tony dived on for a ride!
I've had to backblip most of this week due to the storm taking out the internet aerial so please take a look at what we have been up to!
