Yes this is the actual match point that won Michelle Li a place in the semi-final of the badminton womens singles at the Commonwealth games!
My friend and I were off to Glasgow today to see the afternoon quarterfinal matches in the badminton. I was offered tickets by a couple of people that weren't able to attend so it was a pleasant surprise to be able to go to an event. Apart from the matches being great, the whole event was so well organised and the hospitality and friendliness of the volunteers was second to none. Well done Glasgow! Michelle went on the win gold in the women's singles, a first for a Canadian women so well done Canada as well, so proud!
