Sur le pont

High energy levels this morning, we were up and out by 1pm with the intention of going to a small town nearby for a wander and some lunch. The town turned out to be closed, we couldn't work out if this was for lunchtime or lundi. We pushed on and found a restaurant next to a bridge with no car parking spaces left which we took as a a good sign.

Which it was, it was a very excellent fish restaurant. My meal was big enough for three people and arrived with its own Bunsen burner, I did not do it justice at all but it was gorgeously tasty. A good outing, we dropped the wandering plans in favour of books and the swimming pool. I am still mightily full up.

I also have a cold, generated out of nowhere at 4am this morning. And Will's hearts desire is to go fishing this holiday - i have yet to find the beach side shop announcing "all your fishing needs here"........
