Le soleil, les arbres et les oiseaux

It was a very grey start to the day which did not bode well but actually turned into a glorious afternoon. We were tied to the house awaiting l'electrician to give us back lights and use of all cooking facilities (Philippe's fuse box instructions did not cover completely broken dining from lights as it turned out).

L'electrician took his own sweet time but we had a lovely sunny afternoon in the pool, with books, the odd beer etc etc (there is a general pattern). We left a key for l'electrician in the end and went down into the very, very tiny town for galettes and crepes for tea. They were very lovely, mine had scallops in. We came home to the lights working again, which was nice.

Tomorrow, assuming a similar sunny day, we are going to one of the lovely beaches that Will and I found yesterday. And maybe also fit in a spot of tennis.

I do apologise for the constant scenic shots, the children are being very protective of their photos. I have some splendid ones of D and E performing High School Musical on the patio yesterday but they are "not to be posted ANYWHERE". Oh, and they have been very industrious today on the insanely wonderful Project Llama. I will really spare you the details but there is a large exercise book being filled up with their supremely bonkers ideas of different llama varieties they are going to breed (in Canada).
