Quarry

A gentle bike ride after the wind died down this afternoon. I was on the look out for something to blip when I heard some heavy machinery. I thought at first it was farm machinery but was surprised to find that the Pickering Quarry had extended its operations.

I headed up the farm road to discover the quarry had opened a new extension near the farmhouse. I am glad that I do not live in the farm with the noise of the quarry throughout the day.

Just got back before the heavens opened. A good excuse to continue organising the many photos I took in Scotland so the parents and juniors can see them.
