A day at the spa

A last minute place became available at my SIL's hen party, and I was lucky enough to be offered not only a whole day at a Centreparcs spa, but also childcare for the day to enable me to go! Despite the early start, I had a brilliant day. Its amazing how tiring relaxing all day can make you, haha.
We were greeted with a breakfast of fruit salads, pastries and prosecco, dressed in our gowns then spent the whole day dipping in and out of the outdoor heated pool and the 20 or so therapy areas alongside. From herbal baths to turkish hammams, swinging chairs to water beds, saunas to japanese gardens, ice fountains and experience showers. It was lovely. They even had 2 'seminars' where basically we got to use all the elemis/decleor goodies in DIY facials. Took 10 years off me! We had a delicious lunch and yummy cake too.

At 7pm we headed back to Sheffield for a BBQ tea and to collect the children. Sounds like they too had a ball. Painting, petting zoos, park, hot tub, trampolining, watermelon carving. Well done Uncle Joe, you can have them any time!
