The Kelly
Woke up really late.
Ate a quarter of a Bird's Nest for breakfast. A Bird's Nest, bought at Iavarone, is pasta, sauce, and mozzarella in a dome shape held together by egg. I heat it up in the microwave.
My triceps were sore from Crossfit the day before.
Watched House.
Took a shower.
Watched House.
Dad text me that he wanted to eat early and asked what time he should pick me up so I said, "Going to Crossfit now. 5:15 would work." Then I said, "Make that 5:30," because I realized 5:15 was to soon after Crossfit.
Went to Crossfit with Mom. Took my inhaler before hand. The instructor was Adam, the co-owner. Paige Miller, Adam's girlfriend and a girl from Catherine's grade, was there as the co-instuctor. She's really nice. The WOD was the Kelly (hence the title).
"Kelly"
Run 400 meters (we run to a pole and back for 400 meters)
30 Box Jumps (I used the big one turned on its side for the first three rounds, then the big one on its shortest side)
30 Wall Ball Shots (I used 8 pounds)
5 rounds for time (30 minutes expected time)
It was a tough workout but I got through the whole thing. I spit out the mucus that built up in my throat into tissues. That happens when I do cardio. I was gonna stop at 4 rounds but went to 5 after a brief cool down. I finished the whole workout in a little over 38 minutes.
Got in the car and looked at my texts. Dad misunderstood me and thought I meant I was going to Crossfit at 5:30. He went to look at BMWs so he said he'd get me at 6:30-7 which worked for me.
Got home and watched House.
Dad picked me up and we went to Burgerfi. I got a BAD burger. BAD stands for Breakfast All Day, it was amazing! It had hashbrowns, bacon, a fried egg, a burger, american cheese, and maple syrup on a bun (pictured).
Back to Park.
Watched Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.
Watched House.
Drank some chocolate milk.
Going to bed now.
Nite.
Starting a diet of protein, fruits, and vegetables tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
