Thursdays Sketch

Sketching at Longshaw on Thursday was interupted by the rain and wind. I'd left this sketch at an early stage - basic landscape lines in place but with fairly pale colours. I wanted to add more depth to the colour but think I've overdone the pink of the heather. (I've since removed some colour and toned it down a bit.)

I need to find a way of abstracting from these landscape sketches now - more sketchbook experiments needed.
