Having fun with colour!

After the rather sombre sketch of yesterdays moorland scene when it was about to rain (I'll share later as it need some finishing touches) I decided I wanted something a little brighter and more cheerful today. I could have blipped a photo of the bowl of fruit but I thought I'd go for the sketch instead. Some time ago I bought a book called ` A sketch a day' which provided my inspiration - the artist in the book had actually been out sketching in a market but that wasn't a possibility for me today. After a day of trying (and not totally succeeding) to sort out my mums house insurance I needed a change of scene.
