Mono Monday: Connection

Few connections are stronger than those between parents and their children. Perhaps because we have carried the babies inside us, dreaming, hoping, and praying, the bond is especially strong for mothers. I was blessed to have a wonderfully happy and healthy pregnancy, shared expectantly with a loving and supportive husband. Our only daughter's birth was our happiest moment, and this photo-of-a-photo was taken shortly afterward. There is no denying the connection, as she looks just like baby pictures taken of my husband. Her birthday (#27) is later this week, and the Mono Monday photo is to celebrate our connection. Happy Birthday, sweetie! Love you!
