Working late again

A few years ago I was working late every night of the week, so I asked my boss if I could change my working hours. Officially, I now work 4 days a week, 8am to 7pm, with 90 minutes for lunch.

Stupidly, I thought if I worked late it would be quieter, and I'd get more done, and I'd finish on time. Nope! All it means is I stay later 4 nights a week instead of 5!

Still, it is nice to come out when everything is quiet, and the car parks are empty, and the hospital looks so different at night. I don't suppose my colleagues who work 8.30 - 4.30 ever see it like this.
