After a hectic day of politics , with the referendum uppermost in every politician's mind ( even though we passed two very significant pieces of legislation in the Scottish Parliament today ) it was salutary to reflect on my way back to my flat tonight that there are other important draws on the public notice in Edinburgh at present , it being Festival time.
