Foooooood!

Eating seems to be coming up a lot in this blog. I swear it's not because that's all I do with my day, it's just a coincidence! Today was about two gifts of food, both very surprising and pleasant. The lady who runs the food counter at my gym who always says hello to me when I'm there gave me a free wrap, and J stopped by work later to give me the above skewers. The day that I take any of these little kindnesses for granted is the day that I need to leave Korea.

The day started badly with a random guy at my language exchange place giving me a hard time over my lack of spoken Korean - for some reason I clammed up and so couldn't say anything, but there was no excuse for insults when I didn't know him - but got steadily better over the course of the day. So overall it was a good one :-)
