Tubthumping

Drum class today! I slept in a bit later than I had planned to so didn't manage to accomplish all the things that I wanted, but a lovely breakfast and some hot drum action fixed everything. Quite a bit more difficult today but not overwhelmingly so, I need to fit in more time for practice over the next 7 days to try to get better at transitioning into and out of fills.

Following a discussion over lunch I was reminded of all of the things that I need to do to actually advance my professional life here. It will require a few sacrifices of my time but there are things that I can do now that I really haven't tried and really should. It's important to have somebody point these things out from time to time when you get lost in the forest. Lots to do, and I need to remember that I have time to do it. Hopefully removing all the games from my phone will help :-)
