A work in progress
Dry, bright day with a light breeze.
Ever since we came to Dundee three years ago they have been pulling down buildings at the waterfront, including an hotel, the 20 story Council Offices and a swimming pool. This is to make way for the new Victoria and Albert Design Museum, some Hotels and a revamped road system to provide open public spaces.
We are now at the point where everything has been 'flattened' and preparations are being made to start building. One improvement so far has been new on/off ramps for the Road Bridge which does ease the traffic flow.
This is a view from the central walkway of the Road Bridge and shows the RSS Discovery, Discovery Point Museum, the River Tay and the Railway Bridge. The hills on the left are in Fife and the Railway Station is on the right. The area in the immediate foreground is where the V and A Museum will be built.

Enjoy your evening - we are off out to a friend's Birthday Dinner.
