Coffin Walk

A walking friend took a few of us on a new walk today, called the Coffin Circular Walk. It has been newly opened up, sign posted, stiles and gates installed and even a car park provided by the current landowner at Knockbain House, they have also placed a "Rest and be Thankful" seat at the top of a very steep bit.

I find this amazing and so generous, to actively encourage dog walkers onto their land to enjoy the stunning views and beautiful scenery is very rare in this day and age. I have found that people in the Highlands all seem to love dogs, never have I seen a notice telling you to keep off the grass or put your dogs on a lead. The majority of walkers are responsible and do control their dogs when stock is around and keep the gates closed.

Thankyou to the family at Knockbain House.
