Singing in the bath(room)

This is Claude the choirboy. He sits on my bathroom windowsill singing - 'you'll never walk alone' if his song sheet is to be believed.
I saw the work of this artist (Ansy Boothroyd) when I visited Eastbourne in May and bought a piece which we called Bertie the bookworm for my sister's birthday. When I was back in Eastbourne last month I looked in the gallery again and saw this one which I christened Claude.
I love the simple lines and minimal detail which still manages to impart an identity - and the colour of his robe goes well with my new bathroom decor.
