Blippers........
...........And Fog
Blackheath, Blue Mountains, Australia
I have had a wonderful day meeting fellow blippers from the Blue Mountains.
My husband, MacsPic and I were met at the Blackheath railway station by Hobs's Run and his wife.
The day was very foggy and a little damp, but smiles of welcome were full of sunshine.
Morning tea was at the Wattle Cafe in Blackheath where I met Jolang, Isbi, Beckett and Walking Wombat.
Following morning tea our day went like this
Govetts leap
Sublime Point lookout
Leura Cascades
Megalong Valley Tearooms for a lunch of delicious homemade pies and iced coffee.
Visit to Isbi and her husband’s farm further along the Magalong Valley (where we saw wild kangaroos)
Our return trip was with Beckett via stops along his favourite Nepean River and weir at Penrith
Then we were delivered to Emu railway station for our final leg of the journey.
]I loved every minute of the day and send a big thank you to you all, especially you Hobbs for co-ordinating the day[/i]
Several favourite photos from today are
A group of Blippers in the Fog ** Beside the Magalong Tearooms ** Wild Kangaroos ** The Nepean River (my favourite of the day)
