Another day another grand daughter

This is my 12 year old grand daughter Willow who is here to stay for a few days. Today we went to Leeds Castle in Kent. Its a beautiful castle, surrounded by a moat. Inside, there was some beautiful light coming through a window, and I asked Willow to pose close to the window for this one. Cant beat natural day light!

There was a falconry display so I had an attempt at photographing the birds in flight, since we have a competition coming up NEXT year called "flight". This was really hard! I managed one OWL shot in focus, which I was quite pleased with, but half his wing is missing!
