Surprise!

I certainly was! For some time now my Lumix Bridge camera has been "playing up" Trivial things which it was possible to work round but I knew the day was approaching when I would need to think about a replacement.

When I was training to teach Rural Studies part of our course (strangely) was photography and we used Pentax, spotmatic if I remember correctly. Then when the children were coming along we had an ME Super so I have always had a soft spot for Pentax.

Over the weekend Katkatkat was visiting and I was muttering about a particularly bad session of problems in with the Lumix. I realise now she did some gentle probing about what I would replace it with when the time came. There was a knock on the door this morning and a man said delivery for ".....". Yes that's me!

When I opened the parcel I found this beauty complete with 18 - 50mm and 55 - 200mm weather resistant lenses. Many many thanks Katkatkat.
