Iguana
A real desperation blip. It gets to a certain time of night and you realise you have no blip - panic! It was so late there was no chance of an outdoor shot so what is there of interest indoors that already hasn't been blipped?
This carving of Iguanas caught my eye. It dates back to the time when clickychick was running the jewellers shops one in partnership with my brother and his wife. It is a carving of two Iguanas in Ruby and Zoisite. Contrary to popular opinion Ruby isn't always a glass clear beautiful red colour. It is often found as amorphous masses among other rock, then it is opaque like the Ruby on this shot. The green is known in the stone trade as Zoisite but I suspect a geologist would call it Anyolite. It is a mixture the green is Zoisite and the black flecks Tschermakite.
I wasn't happy with any of the shots of the full carving, in fact I am not too happy with this but it is all I have.
