Big Job

What looks like a row of hedges on the left is a border of Wax Myrtle bushes that run about 50 ft. down the side of our backyard and forms part of a barrier between our back yard and the rear line of the backyards of 3 neighbors whose houses face a street that is perpendicular to our street. Wax Myrtles make a good, relatively fast growing border. As noted, this border is about 50 ft. long, 5-6 ft. thick, and about 9 ft. high. They were thicker and were 2 - 3 ft. taller until I spent several hours over the last 3 days cutting and trimming the entire border. It has been so hot, I limited my sun exposure to a few hours each day. I still have some of the cut branches to clean up, but the hard part of cutting mostly from an 8 ft. step ladder is finished. I guess I'm just braggin' I got it done (within cutting myself or falling off the ladder).
