Mackintosh Architecture Exhibition

Hunterian Art Gallery, University of Glasgow, until 4 January 2015

Over 80 architectural drawings, many never exhibited before, along with archival material, models of unbuilt designs, and short films in some of the locations. Also a display of various materials CRM used e.g. sandstone, brick, tiling etc. This shot shows The Lighthouse, The Daily Record Building and Two School Buildings.

We spent over an hour here, carefully studying the displays. An excellent show, worth a visit. We also had another visit inside the Mackintosh House. With the early afternoon sun, it was a treat to see the light effect through the glass onto the beautiful furniture and fittings. A wander around our alma mater, including the Hunterian Museum with a small display on the Lost Tomb of Robert the Bruce.

We packed in a lot between the torrential downpours :-
Boiler : Repaired and working.
Dentist : Full marks, no problems.
Computer Tower : Collected. New motherboard installed. Fingers crossed!
Skype : Edinburgh, Singapore, Houston.
Ironing : Basket cleared.
