DAY 11......ONTO SERIFOS

THIS IS THE REV'S BROTHER ,JOHN AND SIL, SUE ON THE SERIFOS FERRY

Well today was one of dramas....
1. Weather too windy for our small ferry back to Paros port to run.
2. Had to get up an hour early to catch other ferry and a bus to the port...(and missed breakfast)
3.Had to sit in port for 2 hours waiting for Serifos ferry, which actually turned out really pleasant having breakfast in the port.
4. Sea very rough and boy did the boat roll....we had to keep warm on deck under beach towels it was a sorry state!!
5. As we were disembarking The Rev fell down the ferry steps onto his knees..not good for his marathon training!!! But bloody knees aside he is ok.
6. Drop J and K off at their hotel as we had booking problem back in UK...and we had 2 double rooms book just round the bay....Oh no....he only had 1 room available!!! after lots of moaning and discussion we had to go to a separate apartment along the road for 1 night...all will be sorted tomorrow!

Serifos seems a nice island but things are just not going our way today:(
