Eindhoven to Amsterdam

Checked out of the Alcatraz Hotel (bless, they tried... TripAdvisor review posted soon!), then over an hour on a minibus (joy) back up to Haarlem for a visit to a secret place to see secret stuff being done, as a final part of the week long course. Great it was too.

After lunch in the secret place we were dropped off at Schiphol, where I said my goodbyes to colleagues who were all heading home, and instead caught the train to Amsterdam for a welcome weekend at the Pulitzer Hotel (5* luxury at last and worth ever penny / Nectar card point). And they actually welcomed me back - class.

Mrs DP soon joined me after her flight from London and before you knew it we were in Van Puffelens, the first of our many favourites which would be revisited, noshing on top food and catching up on each others weeks.
