Philip

Today would have been Philip's birthday.

This photo of Philip and Bramble74 was taken exactly a year ago in Nyon, before we boarded a paddle steamer to Yvoire across the lake for a birthday lunch with Crozet608 and Bramble74.

Today we went to a favourite Cotswold pub for lunch and ate some of Philip's favourite food! One of Philip's nieces was with us and the other marked Philip's birthday by having a family day out in Philip's birth place - Redcar! A Lemon Top ice cream from Pacitto finished their day - Philip's favourite! She sent a photo of the recently redeveloped seafront there - complete with an offshore wind farm! I think a very different landscape from Philip's childhood days on the beach.
