Skies over Viridor Wood

Today's weather has been an improvement on the last couple of days; a little warmer and much brighter most of the time! I treated myself to a pedicure this afternoon and by the time I got back home the grey clouds had rolled in and we had a few heavy showers around tea time. I could see the brighter skies coming in from the west so took a quick dash towards the woods not too far away in the hope that there might be something worth photographing. Thankfully it turned out to be the case.......the sun found it's way through and gave up some lovely hues, in amongst the dark clouds, but I think there's more rain to come later tonight. I hope the bank holiday weekend isn't a complete wash out for everyone.
