Birswith

Dropped off in Birswith, Jacob's childhood home. Walked around the town and surrounding fields and woodlands, saw Jake's old house, ate lunch at the Station Pub. Then hiked to the town of Ripley. Tea at the Ripley Castle Café, unable to see Ripley castle, but walked through the royal gardens. Stole an apple or two. World Famous Ripley's ice cream, feeding some chickens and taking pictures. Waited an hour to get picked up and dinner at the Queenshead pub. Ilkley Martha and Vincent café for blues and soul night... had agreed to perform but was met with a set of disappointing circumstances that led me to abandon the idea despite intense pressure. Came away feeling generally disappointed and unfulfilled.
