Journey to Scotland

Woke up feeling under the weather, early morning departure to Scotland. Stopped first at Bamburgh castle, situated on top of a rocky cliff overlooking the North Sea. Did not enter the castle, but walked along the beach. Then stopped at Holy Island, only accessible during low tide. Visited the small castle of Lindisfarne, formerly a fort transformed into a holiday home. Also the famed Lindisfarne winery, where I picked up honey and mead. The rest of the journey was spent between sleep in the car. Finally checked into the Moness resort in the town of Aberfeldy, ate dinner, went to the pool and spa, and finally to a pub in Aberfeldy.
