Cascais

Day 1 of the holiday and it was spent under the sun, right beside the pool. Bliss.

The pool temperature does take a while to get used but it's nice and cooling when you're in. Marley's hair, as predicted, was an absolute knotty mess by the end of the day. She was getting all upset with herself when it was time to get ready to go out. I suggested she popped a hat on for our trip into town for tea.

Cascais seemed nice and lively when we arrived. Our restaurant choice could have been better, preferably without drains under the legs of chairs......
