Jennifer Pike

People Twitcher and I arrived in South Wales and took a short jaunt to St Davids which boasts a spectacular Cathedral in a rural setting. We have visited several times before but this time we were lucky enough to come across the BBC Welsh Symphony Orchestra rehearsing for a concert. The second piece they played featured this young woman. Jennifer Pike distinguished herself by winning the Young Musician of the Year competition at the age of 12. She now travels the world as a solo violinist. It was a privilege to listen to her play with the WSO in such a spectacular location.
