Not sure this is quite up to Iain Macmillans standards - but the spectacular Bowes Museum provided a backdrop to a touch of silliness.
Iain Macmillan is the photographer who took what is probably one of the best known photographs of all time; the cover for the Abbey Road Album by the Beatles. It is one of my biggest regrets that I didnt realise who he was until after he died as he stayed only a couple of minutes from me and shared the same local. Since then I have seen a fair bit of his work and I suspect it was only his quiet and private nature that stopped him becoming as famous as some of his contempories such as David Bailley.
