Paws at Dores

The Hilghland Hospice held a sponsored dog walk today. It started in this field just outside Dores on Loch Ness. This shows the scene about half an hour before the start.

We walked along the loch shore then up into the woods and up to Aldourie Castle. The path then wound it's way through the woods and back down to the Dores Inn.

A beautiful walk, attended by about 60 dogs and their owners. We split up into small groups so as not to frighten the other visitors. All the dogs were very well behaved, a credit to their owners.

Great fun, stunning scenery, a lovely morning walk for a very deserving charity.
